Notice of resignation

Dear Kubuntu Community,


I would like to inform you/give notice of my intention to resign my
position on the Kubuntu Council (KC). I would like to thank those of you
who voted for me and want to apologize for not being able to fully engage
and perform the job I was entrusted to do.


This past two months, following the election, I've encountered some issues
in my personal/family life, which meant I could not give the KC and the
community the attention they deserved. I also want to point out that my
resignation has in no way been influenced by anyone on the KC, all of which
I regard as close friends and love to bits. This really is to do with my
personal issues which are the root cause and I feel I should step aside and
let someone else take my place and play an active role in leading Kubuntu
forward.


I also want to let you know that I might not be around for a while, at
least until such time that I feel that contributing to Kubuntu becomes less
of a chore and I regain the enjoyment of working in a team, something I
have been struggling with of late. Please accept my sincerest apologies if
you have been at the receiving end of my short temper.


If someone in the know can advise me on the process and how I can "Step
down considerately" as per the Ubuntu Code of Conduct, I would be very
grateful.
