<p style="margin:0px">I would like to inform you/give notice of my intention to resign my position on the Kubuntu Council (KC).  I would like to thank those of you who voted for me and want to apologize for not being able to fully engage and perform the job I was entrusted to do.</p>
<p style="margin:0px"><br></p>
<p style="margin:0px">This past two months, following the election, I've encountered some issues in my personal/family life, which meant I could not give the KC and the community the attention they deserved.  I also want to point out that my resignation has in no way been influenced by anyone on the KC, all of which I regard as close friends and love to bits.  This really is to do with my personal issues which are the root cause and I feel I should step aside and let someone else take my place and play an active role in leading Kubuntu forward.</p>
<p style="margin:0px"><br></p>
<p style="margin:0px">I also want to let you know that I might not be around for a while, at least until such time that I feel that contributing to Kubuntu becomes less of a chore and I regain the enjoyment of working in a team, something I have been struggling with of late. Please accept my sincerest apologies if you have been at the receiving end of my short temper.</p>

<p style="margin:0px">If someone in the know can advise me on the process and how I can "Step down considerately" as per the Ubuntu Code of Conduct, I would be very grateful.</p>
