Hi everyone, I booked a double room for Scarlett and me at
http://www.regenbogenfabrik.de/buchung.html. The other two were full
some of the days I want to stay, which is the 30th of Aug - Sept. 9.

My problem is that I've not gotten a confirmation email yet. I know
some of these places are small, and it's staff that answers rather
than a robot. But it leaves me antsy not knowing. Still, if you want
to stay in the same place as us, you may as well try there. According
to Albert this is a busy time in Berlin, so the sooner you book, the
better.

I got my tickets rather cheaply (under $1000) which pleases me,
although I have lots of layovers which is not cool. Kayak.com "hacker
fare" churned up my stomach, but I got the tickets.

As soon as I have a confirmed bed, I'll be asking for sponsorship from
Ubuntu Community Fund. Which day shall we do our Kubuntu annual
meeting?

In answer to someone's question: each of us must ask for sponsorship
separately. And if we want to ask for a meal to be sponsored, we need
to ask for that in advance, separately.
