Qt 5.6.2

I would guess that the majority of bugfixes have already been backported
to the Qt 5.6.1 builds in the stable phone overlay ppa?

https://launchpad.net/~ci-train-ppa-service/+archive/ubuntu/stable-phone-overlay

It is quite some time since the original Qt 5.6.1 xenial-overbuilds we
used in backports were copied over from their landing ppa, so I think
Timo et al. have been quietly and industriously patching Qt bugs in that
ppa since.

For example, the timezone data fix you mentioned in IRC by Marcin:

https://launchpad.net/~ci-train-ppa-service/+archive/ubuntu/stable-phone-overlay/+sourcepub/6883405/+listing-archive-extra

Should these builds be ready to go, safe to update our backports ppa
without the need for full scale rebuilds, I would favour this option
over a wholesale Qt update.
