Hi all,
Well I said I would step forward if nominated, but at that time there was
only two names for three seats. I guess I can't back out now after saying
I would!
My name is Clive Johnston and although I have only become active in the
Kubuntu community in this past year and a half, I have been beta testing
Kubuntu for a very long time. I frequented the IRC channels but using
random nicks. I was more as a lurker to hear what was going on in Kubuntu
land.
Just before Jon's departure he encouraged me to start to learn how to
package and with Philip's help I've continued that road. I've still a long
way to go but I will try and help out if I have the skills to do so.
I do recognise that Philip, Myriam and Valorie have lots more experience
than I do, but I will honour my word and add my name into the vote. I would
also like to thank Valorie for nominating me.
With kind regards,
Clive Johnston
