to prepare for the upcoming shared repo attempt with debian please get
yourself prepared and familiarize yourself with git

- subscribe to debian-qt-kde mailing list
- sign up here: https://alioth.debian.org/
- username will be username-guest (for weird reasons that don't matter)
- add ssh key (they are synced by cron so it takes a while until you
have access)
- poke someone in #debian-qt-kde to add you to the pkg-kde team (e.g.
svuorela or maxy)
- test your access...
- you'll probably want to read http://pkg-kde.alioth.debian.org/pkgkdegit.html

for extra convenience you may want to add this to your ~/.gitconfig
(mind the username in the 3rd line):

[url "git://git.debian.org/pkg-kde/"]
    insteadOf = debian:
[url "apachelogger-guest at git.debian.org:/git/pkg-kde/"]
    pushInsteadOf = debian:

then you can do
git clone debian:kde-extras/bangarang
and respectively push using that alias as well

please don't meddle with the existing live repos until more
instructions on the precise workflows become available, in particular
try to not accidentally break something :P

that's it for now
