The KDE 4.11 libsolid4 now uses udisks2, which means the behavior change is exposed for us finally, too.

Perhaps we revert the udisks2 behavior to be like the old udisks _until_ 13.10 releases? Since people are accustomed to expecting changes when new releases appear, this might make it easier to communicate. Alternately, we try to communicate something broadly now.
I'll admit I have not investigated how other distros are handling this functionality change.
