I think we can only make a sensible decision on this with a sensible proposal, 
even then we should take it to trial.

Also, I suppose if the menu icon needs a matching background, or even can have 
a matching background (i.e. worth mentioning that it is matching because most 
others do not), then the icon is not a sensible proposal.

If we change the menu icon it should be to something that can stick for years 
to come, so it must fit in with Oxygen at large, most sorts of wallpapers and 
of course the established Kubuntu branding (unless of course someone thinks 
that we should reinvent that ;))
