Kubuntu 10.04 LTS status?

Breaking sync with core-Ubuntu LTS will cause some major headaches for the 
Kubuntu developers, as well as core-Ubuntu devs. So, for those reasons, I 
don't think it's practical to have Kubuntu LTS until the next LTS term. Even 
though I would like to see a Kubuntu release with the LTS status, it seems 
unlikely to me.
