The other problem I have is that if the packages were this broken then there
should not have been a release announcement on Kubuntu.org. If the packages
needed testing there should have been an announcement on #kubuntu-devel and
kubuntu-devel at lists.ubuntu.com for people to test. I owuld have fired up my
Jaunty VM, installed the update and then reported the results. Instead here
I am in a hotel room with crappy internet with a partially messed up system.
Sorry to keep beating a dead horse but I think Richard is dead on when we
need to make sure our stuff works well before releasing it
