Kubuntu Logo for Kickoff

I think we do need something that gives us a little bit of identity in some 
small way.  A kickoff logo is one way, but what about something as simple as a 
simple Kubuntu logo/text on the default wallpaper?

I like the idea of a kickoff menu myself. Discrete, yet easily seen.
