Audio stops working

The bug report of Kwan Chan doesn't match my symptoms since I can ear sound
from two apps running simultaneously (i.e, smplayer and amarok).
The solution of Ike Garcia didn't work for me.
I will try Go Eller's solution.
I done some tests which revealed that:
1. Playing smplayer + amarok together or one before the other did
*not*cause the problem.
2. Playing flash + amarok did *not* cause the problem too.
I will try to monitor the behavior of the problem in the following days.
