I've uploaded a test package to my that makes displaymanager work for me when
I remove the ServerLayout section from my xorg.conf. This is meant to
address Bug #173768. If I can quickly get some test feedback, I can probably
get this uploaded before the beta freeze:

If this goes well, the solution I'm using for no ServerLayout section, while
hackish, should be extensible to the no xorg.conf problem.
I'd like to get this tested by people experiencing no crashes at all, those
who have Bug #173768, and those with the no xorg.conf crash.
Thanks,
Scott K
