kubuntu for tablet pcs

Hi,

since some time, display rotation is broken in QT / KDE. Rotation works fine 
and I have not problems in Gnome, but kdesktop doesn't resize. The real 
problem is the Xorg server 1.3, which send bad randr events. I have reported 
this (with a fix from xorg git) to launchpad some months ago [#128529], but 
nothing happens. If it to late to fix the xserver, please add the "much 
simper fix" workaround from the kde bug tracker to QT [#112294].

This issue renders kubuntu unusable for tablet pcs, so please fix it for 
gutsy.
