This one has been bugging me for a while, and it's clearly a
(k)ubuntu-specific bug.

I spent a couple of hours on it, and the new version should have fixed
it.  I've milestoned it for tribe 2, so that I can ask people to check
then.  It's missed the tribe 1 cds.
