I would be of the opinion that there is no point testing dist-upgrades,
until after the majority of the merges/syncs are done, as a lot of them
will change dependancies.
Is there a new kde version being released this cycle? Presumably kde 4
will be far too late. Hopefully that means we're only supporting one
version of kde (3.5.5), which might cut down on problems.
I believe there was talk of an update-manager for kubuntu. I'm not sure
what's happening on that, but that will likely be discussed at UDS.
