compiling koffice 1.4.1 (and kde3.4.2) on amd64

yes, it is. But to compile libwpd8-dev is needed, not present in hoary. I 
resolved removing names from debian/kword.install, as you said.

The last problem (I hope), with kdesdk. I got:
