[Bug 1869801] [NEW] blank screen after log in using new log in theme.

Public bug reported:

i downloaded a new login theme and went to use it. I logged in and my
screen went blank. Tried ctrl=alt+f1 to reset desktop after looking for
a fix. logged in again and screen blanked again. mouse visible no
response.
