[Bug 1889960] Re: kubuntu 20.04.1 keeps pausing, strange behavior

After testing two other boxes, having a different issue on one, and a
perfect test on the other - I re-tested this box.

Loading KDE Partition Manager caused floppy drive to start spinning, but
it didn't remain at that "Scanning Device /dev/fd0" this time... it
responded appropriately.

This re-test on the same box did NOT experience the issues reflected in
this bug report.

Alas I forgot to upload here the screen pictures I took & mentioned in my comments on initial run.

Further as this report doesn't even contain `dmesg` output, it'll be of no value at all unless it occurs again.
It thus has to remain incomplete.  (I should have checked what was uploaded)
