Hi

I just tried this scan/printer "Laser Jet Pro MFP M125nw" on Ub 18.04 today's update
- it works for printing
- but not for scanning, here is the error message

For your info it worked perfectly with 16.04

I did the same than at that time
hp-setup
sudo apt install hplip
sudo apt install hplip-gui
I installed it thru RJ45
I'm pretty sure it's a release bug, but up to you to decide/ confirm

A few infos (the ones I know how to proceed)
uname -a
Linux PC-HP-Club 4.15.0-13-generic #14-Ubuntu SMP Sat Mar 17 13:44:27 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
