Public bug reported:

I selected another keyboard layout and continued installation of Kubuntu
15.04 Alpha 2. However, got this message in the last step of installer.

Files are copied, then got a message of `Installation crashed`. Then had
to start over selecting default keyboard.

It seems there is already a bug report on this, but closed:
