[Bug 1168944] [NEW] 12.04 Backports upgrade uninstalled hundreds of packages

Public bug reported:

The most recent Kubuntu backports for 12.04 that upgraded from KDE SC
4.10.1 to 4.10.2 unistalled hundreds of packages including calligra,
kdesudo, muon, ktorrent, ark, k3b, partition manager and many many more.
Attached please find a screenshot of muon history filtered for packages
removed for that day.
