Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase-runtime

The hibernate functionality in KDE seems to be broken. Neither pressing the menu buttons nor so configured behavior when laptop lid is closed is working. At least there seems to be some events triggered because the network functionality is taken down once triggered a hibernate.
Hibernate (swsusp) is working from the console fine. Did install uswsusp as well just in case it depends. But there is no error message in .xsession-errors nor any message in the logs.
Unfortunately I don't know exactly where this functionality belongs to so I posted this to this package.
