Ubuntu 9.04, Evolution 2.26.1-0ubuntu2:

I set an event in Evolution's calendar and the alert did not appear
until an hour after it was set because the timezone setting in evolution
was set to the wrong timezone.

Evolution should either default to the system setting as set during
install or in time-admin.
