You have been subscribed to a public bug:
When Amarok is first launched in Kubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala 64bit,
kdesudo window comes up asking user to enter password to execute:
install-package --install libmp3lame0 libtunepimp5-mp3
libk3b3-extracodecs libavcodec-unstripped-52 flashplugin-installer
libxine1-ffmpeg
Because I didn't want the flashplugin-installer (I had the 64bit one
already in), I tried to add them manually and found that
libk3b3-extracodecs isn't even in the repositories. The correct package
name should be libk3b6-extracodecs.
root at konstantin:~# apt-get install libk3b3-extracodecs
Reading package lists... Done

Reading state information... Done
Package libk3b3-extracodecs is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
libk3b6-extracodecs
E: Package libk3b3-extracodecs has no installation candidate

** Affects: update-notifier-kde (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Fix Committed
