[Bug 386644] [NEW] Digikam images not shown

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: digikam

After updating to kde 4.3 beta2, Digikam no longer shows images in the
albums pane on the right.

The files are still there if I look with a file browser.

I tried running digikam from a terminal. The output is here:

I've tried a full re-boot so KDE is correctly initialised.

I'm told on bugs.kde.org that this is an Ubuntu packaging error:
