  Kfacebook provides integration of facebook into the desktop through a plasmoid and an akonadi resource. It currently lives in http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/pim/kfacebook/
  I don't know the current status of it but it seems to be the best way to have facebook in karmic.
