My logs tell exactly the same as yours posted above, jcurrier421. I will
try to catch a few more log lines at my university network.

Unfortunately Hermansson's package does not work in my case. It  fixed a
lot of issues concerning Wep and WPA but not the WPA-EAP Tkip +
certificate thing.

@jcurrier421 It is the importance "low" that i cannot follow (am I the
only one who's suffering from this?). I really like searching and
reporting bugs (that's everything i'm capable of so far). But doing this
in essential functionalities of an OS (stable release) can be annoying.
I would like to stop OT now, sorry.
