I don't know if this is related, but I also cannot assign a short cut to
'Mark all messages as read'. It works fine during a session of
kmail/kontact, however, it is forgotten on program close. I am trying
to set 'Ctrl-R' as the short cut. It is accepted fine in the configure
dialogue but it is promptly forgotten on program close/restart.
This has been an issue since my upgrade to Intrepid from Hardy. All KDE
4 packages since the upgrade have had the issue.
Thanks,
Jon
