I found a post on the jabref mailing list, claiming that it stopped
working since kile 2.0.2:

has anything changed in kile between v 2.0-1 (the hardy version, that
appears to work fine when .lyx dir is created) and v 2.0.1 (version
that's in intrepid), that might have affected this?
