This is probably about Amarok 2? Then let me contribute!

In Amarok 2 in Intrepid. I tried to work around this by putting "Various
Artists" to the artist fields of such albums. Then the magic happened:

1) There was a Various Artists under V with these listed correctly
2) The fixed various artists entry was displayed on the beginning of the collection list BUT it was EMPTY --> now I have albums lost from Amarok's sights :(
