Made a test on a OpenSUSE 11.1 box and exhibit the same issue described
here, using KDE 4.1.2 instead and libxine phonon backend.

To fill some extra info. The Amarok tray icon, Amarok standard screen
notifier (dunno how is called), and Amarok window title displayed the
radio station song names correctly, but the plasmoids do not.

Since I reproduced it a non Kubuntu box, looks like it's an upstream
issue.  Only need to figure out if its Amarok or the plasmoids that need
fixing.
