[Bug 324846] [NEW] Alt+F1 does not open the K menu

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace-bin

In System Settings/Keyboard & Mouse/Keyboard Shortcuts/Plasma Workspace,
the shortcut for opening the K menu (Application Launcher) is listed as
Alt+F1. However, pressing Alt+F1 has no effect.

(In addition, in the KDE Menu Editor I have Alt+X set as the shortcut
for opening Konsole, but pressing Alt+X also has no effect.)

Using: stock KDE 4.1.2 in Kubuntu 8.10.
