I'm sorry but to blacklist is not the whole prob in bug435352. It also interferes with suspend fails.

#196 hybernate works but without the functioning of a gnome power
manager or in replace guidance power manager.

So if you want both getting to work you can patch your kernel as shown
in Bug435352 or you can download the debs out of my cloud in ubuntu one
(for that klick to my name and send me an email) or you wait one or two
weeks to the next release of ubuntu linux kernel (there the patch of
Oliver Neukum is included). Webcam, usb hotplug and suspend are working
with the current patched kernel 2.6.31.4 . Non functioning of hybernate
has nothing to do with the bug415023 here.
