Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: amarok
In Gutsy.
I keep my music collection on an AFS server. When my Kerberos
credentials expire, access to the AFS share goes away.
When this happens, Amarok removes all those files from the collection.
In order to get them back, I have to perform a time-consuming "update
collection".
Sometimes Amarok loses the ratings information for these files, both the
star setting and the auto-rating values.
I expect there's a similar problem if files are stored on NFS or Samba,
or other network filesystems that could go away at any time. Possibly
removable media as well.
** Affects: amarok (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
