[Bug 45354] Amarok won't play anything

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: amarok

Amarok won't play any media.  The play button just causes amarok to
cycle through all the queued tracks, stopping on each one long enough to
show the track info on-screen display.

Totem, VLC, and Xine can play pretty much any sound (or video) files I
throw at them; mp3, ogg, etc.

The "test sound" button in kcontrol's sound configuration section plays
sound fine.

I'm using amarok-xine as the backend (the default in dapper)

There are no logs or debugging information that I can access.  Let me
know what additional information you might need to help diagnose this.
