[Bug 36981] Re: KMail crashed when starting up

I do not know if it's the same bug or not, but I have also been seeing
this problem since Breezy and still with Dapper. I am using Imap (not
Disconnected Imap) and Kmail/Kontact frequently crashes during startup,
after  prompting for my kdewallet password. But, in contrast to the
reporter's description, for me the problem persists until emptying
kmail's header cache with

rm ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/*

So it seems somehow kmail does not always manage to keep its header
cache intact.
