I think I may have found the same bug, albeit I seem to be causing it
differently.  I'm running Kubuntu 6.06, and frequently use KRDC to
launch rdesktop to various Win boxes at work.  I typically run my
sessions in 1024x768, which is the full res of my laptop.  If I leave
the rdc screen maximized and leave my focus in it and let it idle, my
mouse totally disappears from both rdc as well as KDE proper.  What I
have been doing is ctrl-atl-f1, log in console, killall -15 rdesktop,
ctrl-atl-f7 back to KDE and log out as clean as possible with keyboard
shortcuts.  I basically have to restart X though to get my mouse back,
just as the original author of this bug.
