Just to clarify because this almost sounds like NO packages will show up. That is not the case. I installed firefox and thunderbird from adept. Most apps show up fine but some things that I needed (like nvidia packages) don't show up. -- missing packages that are available in apt https://launchpad.net/bugs/51322
