Public bug reported:

Affects: kubuntu-default-settings (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
The following problem prevents one from opening
files with OpenOffice!

Therefore I think it should be handled with high priority.

Reproduce by:

1. Open file manager by clicking on system menu -
   Home folder.
For some reason in Dapper a file manager opens
with URL system:/home (instead of /home/john)
2. Navigate directory tree to show an openoffice file
3. click on the openoffice file. Let's say it is
    system:/home/bla.doc

now openoffice shows the following error message:
/home/john/bla.doc is not accessible.

Remarks:

1. The URL reported by openoffice does not
match the URL of the file I clicked on.

2. clicking on the home icon in the opened file
manager shows /home/john

>From remarks 1 and 2 you see that we now an
inconsistent system...
