Summary: hotplugging for external drives (usb stick etc) does not
                    work
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: UNKNOWN
        AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: michael at kofler.cc
         QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

hotplugging actually works, when a standard kubuntu installation is done (tested
for Kubuntu 5.10 RC)

however, when adding Kubuntu to a Ubuntu installation (tested for Ubuntu 5.10 RC
+ apt-get install kubuntu-desktop on Oct. 11th), it does not work: after
plugging in a USB drive or memory stick, a new konqueror window appears with a
message like 'media:/sda... does not exist'
