Summary: Ignoring Key size when generating new key
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Keywords: kubuntu
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: kgpg
        AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: patrick.gerken at credativ.de
         QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

When I try to generate a key it fails to generate it with 2048 bits. First time I
tried it could not generate my Key with 4096, but that time some files in .gnupg were
owned by root (wtf?), so I got an error log. The resulting error log showed that he
could not make a key with 4096 bit and he switched automatically to 1024.
It seems, that the same happened with me wanting 2048 bit this time. It should prompt
an error message instead, giving me the chance not to generate a key or switch the
key length. I thought it should be a kde bug, and looked if it exists there. It
doesn't so maybe it is a kubuntu bug. Because of that it's filed here.
