Ubuntu (kubuntu) | klaptopdaemon
Summary: laptop freezes after modifying ACPI "button" settings in
klaptop
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Keywords: kubuntu
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: klaptopdaemon
AssignedTo: debzilla at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: dudefaceguy at hotmail.com
QAContact: kubuntu-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
I am running a Gateway 450ROG laptop, 1.4gHz Pentium M processor. After I modify the ACPI "button" settings in klaptop,
the usage meter hovers around 100%, the mouse moves erratically and is unusable, no new programs can be started, and no
keystrokes are recognized. The "configure klaptop" usually takes abou 10 seconds to start, with no additonal CPU usage, I
don't know if this is related.
