I installed synaptic under Kubuntu, it added a new menu item automatically under
system. (Works fine)

I installad a few programs under Kubuntu-Universe (like GLTRON and ARMEGETRON,
it didn't add an menu-items under games (games->Arcade). Using synaptic under my
old SuSE-distribution, it did add menu items for those programs.

I compiled and installed the last beta of Krusader, it also didn't install any
thing in my menu. Even though the discription at Krusader website, says were it
installed the menu item. (Again unter my old SuSE-distribution it actually did
add an icon in my kmenu, same beta version).

Am I missing something, should I be doing something extra, is this only an
feature from SuSE?
