These are enabled as modules for linux-virtual, at least in groovy which
is where I looked. However the module ends up in an extra modules
package which isn't installed by default, so we can likely move it to
the core modules package so that it will be installed. linux-kvm does
not have them enabled at all, in fact some prerequisite for the modules
seems to be missing.
In both cases we will need to have a bug filed in launchpad in order to
make these changes in stable releases. Can you please use the following
