Missing ubuntu/ directory in ubuntu-kernel-test mainline-crack

Hello kernel team,

Where does the ubuntu/ directory come from?

I'm trying to build the v4.4-wily kernel with the Ubuntu patches from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.4-wily/ but `fakeroot
debian/rules clean` because it doesn't find the ubuntu/ directory (with zfs
and such). I am used to seeing the ubuntu/ directory in official Ubuntu
kernel trees.
