Thanks for the heads-up. Do you know how this might impact which
kernel will land in installer media for 18.04.1?
I'm working on some platform enablement projects targeting that
release, and had extrapolated dates out from the previous schedule,
which would change as follows:
-- WAS -- -- NOW --
2018-05-14 2018-05-21
2018-06-04 2018-06-11 SRU(2)->updates
2018-06-25 2018-07-02 SRU(3)->updates (est.)
2018-07-16 2018-07-23 SRU(4)->updates (est.)
--------------------------------------------------------
2018-07-26 18.04.1 GA
If this holds, SRU(4) would now land in updates on 2018-07-23, which
seems a bit tight for 18.04.1. Is the expectation now that SRU(3)
would be the kernel on 18.04.1 media?
I realize that the right answer is to get things landed as early as
possible - but any guidance you can share here would be useful for my
planning.
