My laptop has an intel video card, could this be the cause of the bug?  Can anyone walk me through on how to make my machine boot up into text mode?  I can access "/" partition but not  "/home" partition.  I can't just reimage because I have data on "/home" that I need to access and the partition is encrypted, I dont know what password I used to encrypt the partition.
