I am having this problem as well with my N150. Confirmed that lucid
kernel 2.6.32-24-generic suspends and resumes fine.

I compiled and tested the current vanilla kernel from git.kernel.org
(commit ae42d8d44195a614c78a636683fe65ed31744cbd -- 2.6.36-rc7) and the
problem still occurs with this upstream version.
