Installing a Lucid kernel:

1. Download the packages for your architechture (i386 or amd64, the
second header is arch independent) below.

http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/linux-image-2.6.32-22-generic
http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/linux-headers-2.6.32-22-generic
http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/linux-headers-2.6.32-22

2. Install them with dpkg -i or graphically (i guess double-clicking on
the files would do).
